A new Chuck E. Cheese venue is under construction in Port Orange, Florida, US, after the previous location was destroyed by a hurricane.

Metal framework has now been erected for the new venue, which is located just by Interstate 95.

Plans show that the new location will cover 13,633sq.ft and will be a replacement for the brand’s previous location in the city which was destroyed two years ago during Hurricane Ian.

The new location is targeting an opening date of February 2025, with a number of new attractions including a trampoline zone, interactive dance floor and video wall. It will also be the first CEC venue in Florida to offer an adventure zone, which will include a Ninja Run obstacle course and other active attractions.

Construction is estimated to cost around US$2m
