The latest venue from Great Wolf Lodge will open sooner than expected.
Located in Houston, Texas, US, the new location began construction two years ago, with a slated cost of US$200m. It will be the second site in the state after the Grapevine location opened its doors in 2007.
Guests at the 532-room resort won’t be short of entertainment options, with a 92,000sq.ft indoor water park and 61,000sq.ft FEC both on-site. The FEC will contain an indoor rope course, a 150ft zipline and a MagiQuest location.
MagiQuest is a live-action role-playing game, where guests choose a magic wand and set off on quests, collecting magical items and learning runes to defeat foes. The attraction is available at a number of Great Wolf Lodges and elsewhere across the country.
The new opening date for Great Wolf Lodge Houston is August 29.
