A refurbished amusement arcade plan for Brean in Somerset,UK, is now with Somerset council for approval.
Carefree Amusements on South Road, Brean, operated by J Holland & Sons, is behind the plan. The arcade is opposite the entrance to the Pontins holiday park that is currently being used to accommodate 900 workers on the Hinkley Point C project until 2026.
The plan would see the venue considerably updated and refurbished, with new toilets, office accommodation and storage. It would have seven flats on the first floor, most of which would be hollday lets.
