The current head of communications of Germany's Gauselmann Group, Robert Hess, has decided to leave the company after almost 13 years to pursue new career opportunities.

From now on the current deputy press officer, Mario Hoffmeister, will take over responsibility for corporate communications until further notice.

A spokesman for the company said: "The Gauselmann family would like to thank Robert Hess for his dedicated work and wish him the best of success for his future professional career."
