Gator Mike's Family Fun Park in Florida, US, is beginning to recover from September 2022's devastating Hurricane Ian with the aid of a lot of hard work and a "secret weapon product."

The Omni Arena VR attraction by Virtuix has proved hugely successful in reinvigorating the 10-acre venue, with as much as 30 per cent of customers flocking to Gator Mike's to play it.
The venue, in Cape Coral, Florida, was hit hard by the hurricane, but dedication from the park's "awesome" staff meant owner Chris Scuderi had operations back up and running just five weeks later.
"We’re really excited to get back to it", said Scuderi. "We’ll have to rebuild, and that’s what we’ll do.”
An upcoming package will allow visitors to enjoy mini-golf, go-karting and an Omni Arena session all in one day.
The Omni VR treadmill has proved extremely popular with budding players, with this latest four-player esports offering from Virtuix providing a totally new virtual experience.
