The Autumn Coin-Op Show (ACOS) will probably be the first coin machine industry event of the year – at least in the UK - following news that trade exhibitions would be permitted to recommence from October 1.

ACOS is set for October 21-22 at Olympia, in London and organised by Swan Events.
Not so certain is the future of the international show also managed by Swan Events, the EAG, the European Amusement and Gaming Expo, due to be held at the ExCeL complex in London on January 12-14.
There is confusion over the availability of the location, which for the past few months has been used as one of the Nightingale Hospitals – temporary hospitals to fight the coronavirus pandemic. Over 2,000 beds had been set up at ExCeL. The UK Government has decided to keep the hospitals open until March 2021 in preparation against a possible second wave of the virus.
Yet by Friday evening, Swan Events’ Karen Cooke was reporting that the ExCeL authorities had been unable to clarify the position of trade shows scheduled to use the complex in the meantime. Cooke told InterGame at the weekend that she was anticipating word back from the venue at some time today.
