A "huge indoor go-kart" track will be opening in the city of Colchester, Essex.
The location for the track is the old Debenham's department store in Culver Square Shopping Centre, reports Essex Live.
"We're thrilled to announce the former Debenhams will transform into a mega entertainment zone with indoor go-karting and a trampoline park," said a representative of Colchester City Council.
"Plans have been approved to convert this empty space into an incredible city-centre attraction. This is absolutely brilliant news for Colchester."
Developer M&G is said to have submitted the plans for the track earlier this year and estimate that the new attraction will create around 50 new jobs.
Indoor adventure park Flip Out, which also has a location within the shopping centre, will operate the upcoming karting venue.
