One of the amusement industry’s leading authorities on redemption and FEC operations, Michael Getlan, is to lead a master class session at EAG International in January.
A third generation amusement centre operator, Getlan has served on the board of IAAPA and holds various trade industry memberships. His premier site in New Roc City, New York, is nearly 200,000sq.ft in size.
Sharing a common theme of ‘how to make more money,’ his redemption master class will be held over two days. Extended discussion sessions will cover topics such as choosing ticket redemption equipment, the art of selecting and displaying prizes, merchandise dispensing equipment and staff training and motivation.
Calling on "anyone operating or responsible for redemption equipment" to attend, Getlan said he is keen to ensure the sessions are not just productive but entertaining.
“I love working with British operators and find them very positive and receptive to new ideas,” he said.
The master classes will be free to attend and will be held on January 22 and 23 during the show at London’s ExCel.
