The Gauselmann Group has appointed Alexander Vleeming as its new chief financial officer.

Vleeming, who replaces Ulrich Wüseke when he assumes the role on January 1, takes over the financial responsibility for the Germany-based gaming group.
He first joined the company in 2008 after working for the Dutch-German Chamber of Commerce at The Hague and an auditing firm in Hamburg. Heading up corporate controlling for the last five years, Vleeming is therefore familiar with the company’s major processes.
“In mid-2012 Mr Wüseke already informed us about his decision to dedicate himself to new responsibilities in non-executive boards and to provide support to succession planning processes,” said Paul Gauselmann, who also expressed his thanks to the 58-year-old for his services to the company.
Wüseke will continue to be available to the Gauselmann Group on an advisory basis.
“By appointing Mr Vleeming as CFO we ensure continuity in the financial responsibilities of the Gauselmann Group and create space for new ideas at the same time,” said Armin Gauselmann. “We wish Mr Vleeming every success for his new tasks, along with the pinch of good luck on his side.”
