UK video AWP manufacturer Games Warehouse made its first steps into the international scene last month when it exhibited at the FER Interazar exhibition held in Madrid, Spain, from September 24-26, 2008.
Javier Lanfranchi, director of international sales for the Merit Group, who is spearheading Games Warehouse’s relationship with Spanish distributor of the Infiniti product, Grupo Comatel, told InterGame: “The FER exhibition in Madrid was a huge success for Games Warehouse and Comatel. The show was generally well attended and the Comatel booth was particularly busy throughout the show. This was because of the large range of brand new products on display, including multiplayer poker, Heads-Up Challenge poker and, of course, the debut of Infiniti in Spain.
“The reaction to this product has been sensational and this is because it delivers several features that are completely unique. In site tests it has performed superbly, second only to one product that is very well established in the market and is now beginning to become outdated. Each week the income gap between the two products gets smaller and no other video AWP is even close.
“Homologation of Infiniti in all three versions (three stake, two stake and arcade) should be completed by the end of November for all video gaming communities. Both Comatel and Games Warehouse are extremely excited about the prospects for the game."
