West Seattle Arcade will be opening next week with a vast selection of games, with some aimed at younger kids and others for teenagers and adults.

The arcade will feature driving games, pure video games, prize games, sports games, classic and new pinball games, dance games, claw games and more.

West Seattle Arcade owners Matt and Elyssa Cichy travelled to Japan to research arcades, reports westseatlle.com, and some games are imported from Japan.

There will be no cash on site with all games operated by credits loaded on cards purchased via a machine on the game floor or at the prize counter.

The arcade will not serve food, though people can bring confections like cake in, to be served in the party area where seating is provided.
