Future Kid, based in Kuwait, has completed the implementation of the InterCard debit card system into all of its nine sites.
The operator, according to Alberto Borrero of InterCard, had been using an old system for about five years and started the upgrade in December of last year.
"Now all sites have the same InterCard system and are all linked to one single server," said Borrero. "This means all Future Kid locations are managed from one single server at its head office with no need to have additional PCs in the locations." This, according to Borrero, is a unique feature to the InterCard system.
It is also thought the operator will open seven new locations this year - four in Saudi Arabia and three in Kuwait - which will also have the InterCard debit card system installed.
In total there are around 27 amusement sites in Kuwait currently using the InterCard system and over 150 in the Gulf Region.
