Funworld, one of the world's principal makers of touchscreen games, has joined the growing ranks of critics of the London ATEI show.

The company’s CEO, Josef Öhlinger, issued the following statement this week: "We find the ATEI show not as significant as it used to be for us in previous years and therefore are seriously considering not taking part at the next year’s fair.

"The show acts much more as an image generator than a sales booster that would be more important for us. That is why we are looking for a better solution that combines sale activities with customer bonding - an ‘own customer event’ could be such an alternative in order to reach this goal."
