Australian competitive socialising company Funlab is expanding to the US.

Three of the company’s Holey Moley mini-golf venues will be opening in Denver, Austin and San Francisco this summer.
Originally founded in 2016, these new venues mark the company’s first foray into the North American market and will feature a range of multisensory experiences.
The Denver location will be adapted from the existing Urban Putt mini-golf course and will open in August with 27 holes. Austin’s Holey Moley will be the first originally designed venue and will also feature 27 holes and a large outdoor space when it opens in November.
Meanwhile, the San Francisco location will also be adapted from an existing Urban Putt, and is set to open in early 2024 featuring 18 holes. Urban Putt was recently acquired by Holey Moley.
Urban Putt CEO and founder, Steve Fox, said: “Holey Moley's US arrival is exciting news for Denver and San Francisco. These cities and teams have meant the world to me, and so do the good times our guests enjoy every time they visit. It's been incredible to see the vision Funlab has for transformation, and I can't wait to see how this will build on Urban Putt's success.”
Funlab CEO, Michael Schreiber, added: “There's something universal about having a good time in a setting designed expressly for that and nothing else.
"Our research, insights and the opportunity to build on Urban Putt's success, shows us there is a high demand for this style of concept that will resonate with American consumers.”
