As the Spanish FER trade show opened its doors in Madrid today, leading Spanish manufacturer R Franco announced that it had forged an alliance to create a new electronic bingo force.
Franco has reached an agreement with Degestec Games that will see Degestec software going into Franco cabinets and using Franco’s network of sales and distribution outlets to distribute the new product.
Degestec is a 10-year-old company with a solid background in the Mexican electronic bingo games industry. It has its headquarters in Valencia where its first games entered service in the Spanish industry only late last year. Four arcades, each with 30 terminals were opened immediately and in the first quarter of this year another 10 locations have been put into effect.
The 168 terminals now in operation are to be supplemented by more by the end of April, housed in another six arcades.
Franco will tap into this experience and add its knowhow and infrastructure to drive the new combination forward.
