UNIS, the distributor of the new Pong games for the amusements industry, has announced Pong Knockout.
The game, originally one of the classics from the 1970s that got the video games business started, has been reinvented and has appeared in several formats over the past few years, including as a cocktail table for one-to-two players and as a one-or-two-player arcade version.
The latest is a four-player cabinet with over-table LED display, designed for arcades and FECs, that comes with drink holders and a separate coin entry on all four sides so new players can join in at any time – and be knocked out.
UNIS, the shortened form of Universal Space, is a major developer and distributor of amusement games and has made a considerable impact with the redesigned Pong game.
