The former Dudley Museum and Art Gallery will feature soft play, indoor cricket, laser tag, escape rooms and a food and drinks court.

Dudley Council’s planning department have given the go-ahead to bring the listed building back to life following its closure in 2016, reports the Dudley News.

It forms part of a £4m leisure quarter in the town centre.

The renovation work to the former museum building and Glass House will be undertaken by local property group Hush Developments.

Hush director Hayley Andrews said: “Our determination to get the project underway and open the venues for the enjoyment of the people of Dudley and those travelling in from further afield is unwavering.”
