Frank Entertainment Companies hopes to convert the iconic Macy’s site in Pittsburgh, US, to include 16 to 20 lanes of bowling and an amusement arcade, reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Bruce Frank, the company’s CEO, said: “Many thought arcades would disappear. It’s not true. The arcades are still a wonderful way to be entertained and just have a great time.”
Randy Mineo, the executive vice president of the site’s redeveloper, Core Reality, has spoken about the possibility of a bowling alley and entertainment centre in the first two floors of the 13-storey building.
The Macy’s store closed in September 2015.
