A new Hasbro-themed attraction is due to open at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey, US, next week.

Planet Playskool

Kingsmen Xperience will open its first Planet Playskool FEC, featuring a range of attractions for families.

The 20,000sq.ft facility features a diverse range of activities and zones, with guests able to experience favourite brands such as Mouse Trap and Play-Doh brought to life. In the Transformers attraction, guests will step abord the Autobot Ark and save the universe, while budding artists will be able to let their creativity flow in the Spirograph Art Studio.

In addition to the attractions, the venue will feature a retail shop that offers unique apparel, toys, games and souvenirs.

Corey Redmond, senior executive vice president of Kingsmen Xperience, said: “Having our first US permanent family entertainment centre with these iconic Hasbro brands at one of the most popular malls in the country is a labour of love that we hope families and kids will enjoy and engage with for years to come.”

The senior vice president of global experiences, partnerships and music at Hasbro, Matt Proulx, added: “Planet Playskool not only brings this vision to life but takes it to the next level through STEAM-based activities that encourage kids to let their imagination run wild and practice their critical thinking skills, while getting them up and active.”

Planet Playskool will open on June 13.
