The fifth edition of the MENALAC Awards ceremony is set to be held on March 15 in Dubai, UAE.

Leaders and innovators from the region’s leisure and entertainment industry will come together at the Address Skyview Hotel in downtown Dubai to celebrate a strong year.
Spending on leisure, amusement and theme parks in the Middle East and Africa is set to reach DH2.23bn (US$609m) in 2023 according to IAAPA, while the UAE has announced plans to attract 40 million visitors to the country annually by 2040.
Ghassan Assi, chairperson of the MENALAC awards committee and chief operating officer of Trampo Extreme, said: “The growth of the leisure and entertainment industry in the MENA region is remarkable.
“Importantly, the industry has stayed resilient through the last couple of difficult years and is now on a clear growth path with regional leisure spending to touch the $609 million mark this year.
“The MENALAC Awards programme aims at recognising excellence in this exceptionally dynamic, creative, and competitive industry. What’s more, the awards ceremony has grown and evolved substantially since its inception and is now well respected by our industry with the trophies being much coveted keepsakes.”
The awards will look at excellence across 29 categories, including “best FEC,” “best edutainment/playscape” and “supplier of the year.”
