Despite some countries within the Middle East experiencing civil unrest, the amusement and family entertainment business in some of these states is recovering well, it has been claimed.

Speaking at the DEAL show in Dubai this week, Embed International’s Andrea Bisi said that as soon as the situation in these affected countries begins to stabilise, the desire for affordable family entertainment quickly returns.
“We’re seeing in the countries that until recently were experiencing unrest that as soon as they settle down the people want to go out and have family time in an affordable way - and we are in that business,” he told InterGame. “Most of our customers provide family-orientated and affordable entertainment, and this is recovering faster from the unrest.”
As such, the market in the region is expanding significantly and providing new opportunities, he added.
A full report from the 2013 DEAL show in Dubai will appear in the forthcoming June issue of InterGame.
