One of Europe's leading children's ride manufacturers who is exhibiting at the InterGame Expo in January, 2009, has strong views on London as a venue generally.

Jose Saus, general manager at Recreativos Falgas in Spain, who exhibits all over the world, says London is "overpriced for hotels, restaurants and transportation," but as Jose points out, "this affects the InterGame Expo too."

But the generally lower costs of exhibiting at London’s alternative show‚ in January, are a major consideration for Saus.

"We left ATEI because it was overpriced, the floorspace, the electricity, the carpet, everything and the service was not good."

He also felt strongly that exhibiting upstairs at Earls Court had a negative impact.

He has joined a growing number of confirmed exhibitors at the Expo, which is being held at the Ibis Hotel, 200 metres from Earls Court, from January 27-29, 2009.

InterGame confirmed an initial exhibitor list earlier in the week, which included Harry Levy, Whittaker Brothers, Sound Leisure, Excel, PMT, Hazel Grove Superleague, Jaybox and others.

As the week has progressed, several more potential exhibitors have contacted InterGame with a view to booking space, including companies from Austria and Germany.
