Kentucky Kingdom has announced plans for a new US$11m expansion to its amusement park, which can be found in Louisville, Kentucky, US.

The park’s planned expansion will feature three all-new family friendly rides, with an additional 10 rides being rethemed.
A new playground will also be installed in the space, with an area of 4,800sq.ft set aside for younger guests to enjoy. Alongside this there will be two new dining locations serving a range of local flavours.
Kentucky Kingdom’s general manager Sarah Worral said: “As a family-centred park we’re dedicated to creating spaces that bring loved ones together, and this new land is our way of celebrating our Kentucky roots while offering exciting new experiences for our guests.
“Our hosts are so excited to share what we have in store for next season, but we also want everyone to know that there is even more on the way for Kentucky Kingdom soon.”
The expansion represents the first part of a planned US$25m investment over the next two seasons, with the first set to open in May 2025.
