Home Run Dugout simulated baseball location in Katy, Texas, is to undergo a $2.7m expansion project just a year after opening.

The venue provides an immersive baseball playing experience and features an on-site restaurant and bar including a patio and biergarten.
The location will have an added 9,242sq.ft for more event hosting space and 10 new indoor batting bays, bringing the total number to 22.
Construction is estimated to be completed this summer.
Tyler Bambrick, CEO of Home Run Dugout, said: “One of our biggest takeaways from our first year of business was the need for additional batting bays to give groups a chance to experience the essence of Home Run Dugout.
"The new bays, paired with additional event-hosting space, will give that many more people the opportunity to experience the fun of HRD.”
