Sydney's Entertainment Quarter's entertainment offering is set to be extended.
Entertainment Quarter chairman Tony Shepard told Sky News Australia that the plans include new "world class" F&B amenities as well as upgraded leisure and sporting facilities.
Shepard said the plans include integrating the zone with the nearby Disney Studios Australia theme park, as well as the Sydney Cricket Ground and and Allianz football stadium.
He added that there would be "serious investment" in both sports and entertainment in the precinct, possibly including esports facilities and other tech-driven immersive sports experiences.
A proposed completion date for the upgrades has not yet been announced.
