A consortium of ride builders is collaborating to create an interactive dark ride at Six Flags Qiddiya City in Saudi Arabia.

Enchanted Greenhouse

Jora Vision, ETF Ride Systems and Alterface will combine their expertise to craft The Enchanted Greenhouse, an interactive ride set inside an abandoned greenhouse. The ride will include 12 six-seater trackless vehicles traversing 160m within 1300sq.m of themed environments.

The Enchanted Greenhouse is set within the heart of Twilight Gardens, one of the park’s six themed zones. On the ride, you are welcomed into a long-lost greenhouse to uncover its mysteries. During the expedition riders encounter various secrets to unravel, from the identity of the elusive butterfly warden, Farasha, to the hidden inhabitants of the greenhouse.

The central idea for this new interactive dark ride should be fun to enjoy when a rider’s finger is not on the trigger. Instead of a classic shooting gallery, the rider experiences memorable scenes they can influence. The ride also offers a collaborative gameplay experience, where guests wield the power to alter colours, influence behaviours and illuminate creature. The experience is not a competition, but a journey where the visitors must work together to discover the magical biosphere that surrounds them

Six Flags Qiddiya City is the first Six Flags park too be designed and built outside North America. Park construction continues steadily and is expected to be completed by 2025.

“Six Flags Qiddiya City is an extraordinary development in our industry, renowned for its creative and visionary ambitions. We believe The Enchanted Greenhouse harmonizes beautifully with these enchanting aspirations, promising to be a brand-new ride experience for families to enjoy in Saudi”, says Robin van der Want, project development director at Jora Vision.
