Debit card system specialist Embed will be exhibiting at next week’s Atrax show in Turkey and sales director Andrea Bisi believes the local market has a great deal of potential.

The Atrax show, which takes place on December 6-9 in Istanbul, has generated significant interest within the amusement industry thanks to the ongoing development of the Turkish market.

Bisi told InterGame that Turkey is an interesting market due to the level of investment in FEC locations. “It seems that the Turkish economy has been stable for a number of years now and there is a great deal of local investment,” he said. “The growing middle class now has more disposable income for entertainment.”

With a population of more than 73 million, there is an “expanding capacity” for entertainment locations.

“Over the last 10 to 15 years, business in Turkey has grown and then dropped again. Now, it seems much more stable.”

Embed is seeking to establish itself in Turkey – a new market for the company - and will be using its appearance at the Atrax show as a platform to showcase its debit card system and the benefits it can bring to local operators.
