US operator Barberio Music Company has stepped up its working relationship with debit card systems Embed, importing the system into eight more of its locations this year.

This now brings the number of BMC locations using the system up to 11.

The latest include the Gaylord Texan and Gaylord Opryland Resorts and four Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park locations in Texas, Tennessee and North Carolina with more planned.

BMC is a San Antonio-based family business coming up for its 70th anniversary in the industry, providing amusement area design, equipment supply, location management and collection services. The company uses Embed exclusively, mainly the Toolkit software and smartTouch Swipe readers. In smaller locations, it uses the emONE self-installed and self-contained cashless system in conjunction with Bay Tek’s Prize Hub.

BMC’s Jordan Barberio said: “Upgrading to Embed reduces daily labour requirements and that means instant savings and an improvement in our service. It all equals bigger profits.”
