Electric Shuffle, the cocktail and high-tech shuffleboard bar, will open the doors to its new King’s Cross, London, UK, venue tomorrow (June 6).

Located close to the Coal Drops Yard, London’s newest entertainment venue is the third Electric Shuffle to open in London, the fifth in the UK and the ninth globally. It joins locations in Canary Wharf, London Bridge, Leeds and Manchester in the UK and the US bars in Dallas, Austin, New York and Chicago, which opened just last month.
The venue features Electric Shuffle’s high-tech version of shuffleboard. Up to 16 guests can play at one table, with connectable tables for larger group get-togethers and big events.
The aim of the game is to score the highest by landing pucks strategically. Cameras track pucks to tally scores and capture replay highlights, sent to guests as a personalised story at the end of the night.
The 9,400sq.ft, 400-person capacity venue has two bars and an outdoor terrace space and has a retro-contemporary style with turn tables and spinning records on the walls and vintage electronics filling the shelves.
CEO of Red Engine, the hospitality group behind Electric Shuffle and its sister brand, Flight Club, Steve Moore, said: “After years in the making, we are so excited to be opening our newest venue. King’s Cross is such a vibrant, buzzing location, so we feel really privileged to be here. We can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been working on and kick off the summer properly!”
The upcoming launch will be the 23rd Red Engine-owned venue, increasing to 24 by year-end. Combined with franchise partner-owned and operated Flight Club venues, the total number will stand at 40.
Beyond 2025, Red Engine has plans to open up to ten new venues each year and have over 80 venues by the end of 2030.
