The Asian amusement and attractions sector will be continue to be a “dynamic” market in the future, it has been claimed.

Last month’s Asian Attractions Expo, held at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, brought together a host of industry suppliers, among them Triotech, which was on hand to demonstrate its flagship XD Dark Ride and a custom Interactive Dark Ride simulation.
The company’s vice president of marketing, Christian Martin, said that AAE 2013 was a success.
“It certainly was for Triotech as we have a strong presence in Asia,” he told InterGame. “Compared to last year we observed less traffic – but this is without statistics of course, just our impression – yet we found that the attendance was of high quality, meaning that the people there were key decision makers in the industry.”
The company met with visitors from all over the world, although primarily from Asia. There was also a noticeable contingent from the Middle East.
“We feel that the Asian amusement and attractions industry has strong momentum and will remain a very dynamic market in the future,” Martin said.
The company’s products were very well received, he said.
“The response was very positive with the usual line-ups, smiles and screams emanating from the XD Dark Ride. Its interactivity multiplies the immersive effects that are the cornerstone of this product’s success.”
