UK trade body Bacta now has a public affairs advisor - the association has appointed Declan Johnson to the post, to report to director George McGregor.

A graduate in policy and politics at Birkbeck University, Johnson is charged with helping to ensure that Bacta’s views are heard in the corridors of power.
Said George McGregor: “He will be helping Bacta to achieve its political objectives, which include the earliest possible implementation of the reforms recommended in the white paper, a review of maximum stake and prize levels and the introduction of modern payment methods on low-stake low prize gambling entertainment machines.”
