A delegation from the DEAL exhibition signed up a number of fresh bookings for the 2011 event at the recent IAAPA amusement parks expo in Florida.
More than 30 new companies pledged their support for DEAL 2011, signing up to exhibit at the show and several more companies have expressed interest in attending next year’s event, with show organiser International Expo-Consults now confident that DEAL 2011 could prove to be the most successful edition of the event in its 17-year history.
"We’ve been delighted with the response to DEAL 2011," said Abdul Rahman Falaknaz, chairman of IEC. "With the opening of such prestigious developments as Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, the Middle East’s amusements industry is showing positive signs of future growth and DEAL will play an important role in this. Our team of senior executives were very busy at IAAPA, showing the synergies between the two shows, and returned to Dubai with a number of confirmed exhibitors and are now following up with more enquiries," he added.
Among the brands that booked space for DEAL at IAAPA are Westech, 3D Branded Attractions, Maurer Rides, Innovative Concepts in Entertainment, Elton Games and Lagotronics.
DEAL is the annual focal point for the MENA region’s ever-growing amusement and attractions industries and will take place at The Arena, Dubai World Trade Centre, from April 4 to 6. It continues to grow year-on-year, providing ideas, inspiration and enthusiasm to meet the demands of the numerous and very different visitor attractions - from FECs to water and theme parks, heritage centres, museums and zoos.
All the latest equipment will be on show from around 200 exhibitions from more than 30 companies and educational seminars and networking events are scheduled to take place for the 17th exhibition.
According to the organsier, more than 80 per cent of its regular visitors regard DEAL as their primary trade event to find everything they need to enhance and improve their business. Despite the general economic climate, new parks, FECs and other leisure facilities have opened and are flourishing in the region and many more are planned throughout the MENA region.
