A portion of a €32m investment is to be used to create the largest family entertainment centre on the Adriatic coast in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Valamar Riviera and AZ Pension Funds are investing the figure to create Maro World, an 1,800sq.m facility with a number of entertainment facilities for children of all ages.
The former Popiva restaurant and Exodus club will be transformed into the new FEC, while there will also be upgrades to a number of hotels.
Tomislav Dumančić, director of the Dubrovnik and Dalmatia region in the Valamar Riviera, said that the company is focused on improving working conditions for local people.
By 2025, Valamar plans to have invested €50m in its destinations.
