Another notable US venue has become the victim of Covid-19. One of the popular arcade-bars, Tapcade at Kansas City, Missouri, is closing permanently this week.

The location blamed the capacity limitations in the local pandemic rules for its demise.
A statement, reported in US trade magazine RePlay, said: “Our business thrives on large parties, events and people coming together in a public space. Unfortunately, these thinghs are no longer possible with current guideliens and likely these won’t change soon.”
The final day in business will be next Monday, August 31. The location operated on a straight $5 unlimited play basis with the only exception pinball, that was 25-cents play.
