It is touch and go for American arcades and FECs as the US Congress debates whether to introduce a "phase IV" Covid-19 relief bill and more pertinently, what should be included in it.

The American operators’ trade association, AMOA, has been lobbying hard with its friends in Congress to ensure that the industry’s current parlous state is taken into account. It has called upon its members to contact their local representatives and senators asking for support and illustrating the impact that the current impasse in Congress is having on their business.
The association has distributed a link to both the House of Representatives and the Senate, so that operators can find a contact point for their own local politicians. “Let’s put pressure on our local representatives in advance of the November election and tell them that we cannot wait for Congress to continue this gridlock and we want action now,” says the association.
