Coin machines will appear at Olympia this year for the first time since the ATEI was held at the London venue in 1982.
The European Amusement Show will open its doors at Olympia for a three-day run from September 27 and a group of British coin machine companies have banded together to form a combined section of the show.
We understand that the group includes Harry Levy, Crown, Sega, Namco, AMG, Electrocoin and Australian company Embed are forming the group. Exhibiting separately is United Distributing Company.
No formal announcement has yet been made, but it is believed that the group has been brought together by Karen Cooke’s Swan Events, which manages the EAG show in January. The group will appear in the National Hall at Olympia.
EAS is a European version of the IAAPA trade show which is held annually in the US, and EAS travels to different countries of Europe each year, so its visit to London will be an isolated one-off occasion.
