Italian kiddie ride manufacturer Cogan is aiming to build its presence in the US market following the opening of a new branch of the company there.

Cogan’s Marco Francioni told InterGame that the recently launched CKR company is the sole distributor of Cogan products in the US. It is based in St Augustine in Florida.
“It means that we have rides ready in stock so our US customers can get them much quicker,” he said. “We’re also able to offer technical support locally and all parts are available.
“Our clients can also visit to see the rides for themselves.”
US customers can buy equipment in dollars rather than euros, so do not need to consider fluctuations in exchange rates. “So far it is going well,” Francioni said. “It is moving slowly because it is almost an entirely new market for us, but it is already giving us good results.”
At the IAAPA Attractions Expo, Cogan presented a range of its rides, including a licensed Smurfs game and its innovative Funny Eggs product that combines both a ride and an interactive game. Pictured: Luca Della Rosa and Marco Francioni
