UK SWP and content provider FatSpanner has appointed Clive Barrett as CEO.
The company had previously been run by a six director board. Recent transactions have led to the buyout of three founding directors and according to FatSpanner, it is "now right that it appoints its first CEO to implement the strategies as laid out by the new board."
Chairman Roy Howell said: "It is now time for FatSpanner to commence its new strategy designed to make the company more efficient and effective as it prepares to enter new markets with high quality content. Clive has gained a great deal of experience through his 20 years at Maygay Machines and more recently at Astra Games. The focus he has shown during this past two years in helping drive FatSpanner to the forefront of the SWP market means he is ideally placed to face the challenges of this new role."
Barrett will report to the new board with immediate effect.
