Active entertainment company Clip ’n Climb has launched a new climbing challenge, merging the worlds of climbing and soft play.

Crunched differs from any other challenge in the company’s catalogue, blending three challenges into one structure.
The soft play challenge sits in the centre of the structure on the inner two opposing walls, with a selection of challenges able to feature on the outer walls. Crunched can also back onto a wall or the reverse of the Vertical Drop Slide.
With two or three climbing lines on one structure, it allows multiple people to climb at one time, boosting a centre’s capacity.
The design of the structure also maintains a clear line of sight, ensuring that staff can safely watch over everyone in the arena.
Crunched encourages visitors to use new techniques, such as “bridging” to reach the top. It involves the climber wedging themselves between the two walls, pushing against the opposing surfaces to reach the top.
The new challenge is available for Clip ’n Climb centres now.
