Some fully restored classic arcade games are among the 82 machines sold last week at auction in Derbyshire, UK.

The collection had been put together by father and son Ken and Stewart Jackson from Birmingham. It achieved £64,000 or £80,000 with the auctioneer’s premiums.
The machines dated between the 1890s and 1970s and the sale attracted buyers from all over the UK, plus Belgium, France and Ireland.
It had been put together by the family over a period of 34 years and the prize item was a Jennings Prospector 1946 Club Console slot machine that raised £7,000. There was also a 1970 Bryans Works Penny Go Round that went under the hammer for £5,500.
A Bally Reliance Dice of 1936 made £3,400 and a Bryans Works Double Decker from 1969 reached £2,200.
The pair decided to sell their collection as Ken had reached the age of 89 and was downsizing his home.
