A new FEC for the city of Poway, near San Diego, US, is being prepared, with a planned opening date of June 1.

The City Fun Centre is set to include four mini-bowling lanes, video games and a "family-inclusive" nine-hole indoor mini-golf course with black light, said by owner Steve Krongard to be "the first of its kind in San Diego County" in an interview with The San Diego Union Tribune.
“We are going to mini-golf instead of laser tag from a Covid standpoint,” said Krongard. “We just didn’t think a closed room with people sharing vests and lasers and sweating was really that conducive to a post-Covid environment.”
Poway City Council is said to be receptive to the plans and will be responding in the coming weeks.
