China’s ice and snow theme park in Harbin will expand ahead of the ninth staging of the Asian Winter Games.

The venue will now cover 1,000,000sq.m, up from the current 810,000sq.m, along the banks of the Songhua River.
300,000 cubic metres of ice and snow will be used to craft castle and tower attractions, with the park set to host the games in February 2025. It will mark this 26th anniversary of the park’s opening.
The park is operated by the Harbin Municipal Government and has been called "the Disneyland of ice and show."
It features a number of winter themed attractions including slides and spinning on ice.
