China Star Games has been awarded exclusive distribution rights to Coast to Coast's video game kit Friction throughout Asia, South America, Russia and Poland.

Based in Zhongshan, China, China Star Games has been working closely with Coast to Coast for the past five years. Coast to Coast’s Gary Balaban said: "We feel they are going to be a great help in promoting Friction to the rest of the world once they start selling later in the month through sub-distributors."

Friction is the company’s first target shooter. The gun game is a coin-op implementation of a design developed by Friction Game Studio, from which it gets its name. The two-player game is supplied as an economical kit that will fit into a wide range of commonly available cabinets and accommodate any suitable CGA, EGA or VGA monitors. A dedicated LCD version is reportedly in the works and will be available soon.
