The holiday village company Center Parcs is up for sale.
The company is a significant player in the attractions business and has six villages in the UK and Ireland. According to the Financial Times this week its owner, Brookfield of Canada, is looking to raise £4bn to £5bn for the business that it bought in 2015 for £2.4bn.
The villages attract over two million visitors annually. It opened its first venue in 1987 in Nottinghamshire and now has another four in Britain plus one in Ballymahon, Ireland.
