UK-based family entertainment centre specialist Playnation has appointed Alastair Butterworth to the role of people development trainer.
He will be responsible for the design and delivery of development training plans for the company’s approximately 800 employees across all areas of the business.
Butterworth previously spent 20 years at Gala Coral, working his way up from a team member role to a position as general manager.
“People are at the heart of everything we do and our team is key to the success of our business,” said chief operating officer Mark Chapman. “We’ve seen rapid growth over the last six months through new contract wins and contract extensions, and want to ensure that our commitment to people is maintained throughout this crucial period.”
Butterworth, he said, complements the business, bringing the knowledge and expertise to develop its employees across the country.”
