BRICS: On a firmer foundation

THIS year opens the second decade of the five-nation BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) and they are establishing themselves as a prominent economic force.

In fact, New Development Bank chief KV Kamath has said that the bloc will be further strengthened during the Chinese presidency this year.
