Part of a £20m investment plan for the town of Burton-upon-Trent in Staffordshire, England, will be a new sports centre with tenpin bowling.

£20m will be invested in the new centre

The local council is adding street cafes and other improvements to the town centre, hopefully with a government grant.

The town lost its tenpin bowling centre in 2007 when the site became a supermarket project that never happened. Now the land will be given over to housing and leisure.

The sports centre would offer skateboarding, biking, trampolines as well as bowling and live events.
