John Bonner, one half of the team which created so many UK manufacturing companies, including Mazooma and QPS, is back with another company based in Newark, Nottinghamshire. Bonner has bought a minority stake in Reflex Gaming, the company owned by Quentin Stott and Simon Dawson.
Bonner has been out of the industry for several years, waiting for the conclusion of his ‘non-compete’ restrictions. But that, said Quentin Stott, is now well past. “He remains interested in the industry sector overall but does not want to be involved on a day-to-day basis. Simon and I feel that Reflex will benefit from having such an experienced and well connected ‘sounding board’ and John’s experience in the international market will be useful in diversifying Reflex through this difficult UK trading period."
He added: “John could well assist in achieving Reflex’s longer term goals once the sector makes some recovery. Otherwise, it is business as usual.”
