An arcade on a famous boardwalk in New Jersey, US, has gone cashless.
Mariner’s Arcade, located on the Wildwood Boardwalk, has opted to install an Intercard system.
For years, the venue has operated solely on quarters, but has now opted to install a cashless system.
Intercard’s Austin Lacy completed the installation at the site in October 2023 and writing on its Facebook page, Mariner’s says that customers are already buying up game cards ahead of the 2024 season.
Todd DeMott, Mariner’s Intercard sales rep and arcade operator, said: “Mariner’s is one of the best arcades I have seen anywhere.
“It’s right on the boardwalk and now that it’s cashless, it’s an unbeatable place for fun and convenience.”
