Trade shows, if IAAPA is anything to go by, are "back to normal. REALLY back to normal" says Bandai Namco Amusements Europe, chief, James Anderson.

IAAPA

From his large IAAPA booth, Anderson said on day two of the event that the show had provided "great footfall and it was great to see so many customers from all over the world."

He added: “We are using this show for new titles instead of the existing catalogue. We have Dead Heat Unleashed, the new driving game with software from Japan - the first development from Japan for our market for a number of years - and US hardware.

“We also have on our stand Raw Thrills’ Fast and Furious and Need for Speed from Adrenaline, plus Halo in its four-player format, which also has the advantage of the loose - as opposed to fixed - gun.”

Anderson continued: “The show is way up on last year and the visitors appear to be spending.”
